IMPACT FLOORING

IMPACT FLOORING
RUBBER TILE FLOORING

More people than ever are lifting weights. The UK's demand for commercial fitness is growing year on year. Cross Fit-type training is ever popular. This has resulted in a massive increase in the demand for rubber tile flooring

We specialize in a vast range of rubber tile flooring; varying thicknesses, densities and composition. Many operators choose loose-lay rubber tiles as a way to future-proof a facility.

RUBBER ROLL FLOORING

Rubber roll flooring is a fully bonded solution that requires a suitable subfloor. Rubber roll flooring offers a solution that has a 'seamless' appearance and can be coupled with an underlayment to offer a premium rubber flooring system.

We offer a premium dual-layer rubber flooring system that can be customized to offer varying densities. This can be used in high-impact areas.

IMPACT FLOORING SYSTEMS

Many of the projects we carry out originate from a problem. A common problem is impact damage from weights being dropped.

As part of our consultative process, we carry out on-site tests to identify a flooring system that offers the right solution. Quite often these solutions involve multiple layers of various specialist materials.

ACOUSTIC FLOORING

ACOUSTIC RUBBER TILES

Rubber by its very nature offers superb acoustic properties. For that reason many rubber tiles are used in acoustic gym flooring applications.

We offer a range of acoustic rubber tiles in varying thicknesses from 20mm up to 150mm. Using a single tile layer will offer a far more cost-effective solution vs. other multi-layered options, but might not perform as well.

ACOUSTIC FOAM SYSTEM

Acoustic foam underlays have been used in gym flooring applications for many years. The foam layer is designed to reduce airborne noise and structural reverberation. Coupled with a rubber floor finish, the acoustic foam system offers a superior acoustic flooring system.

In areas where heavy gym equipment sits, rigid interstitial layers can be used to make the area more stable.

RAISED FLOATING SYSTEM

Raised floating systems are made up of various components including acoustic pads or cradles, solid interstitial layers and floor finish. These systems tend to offer an elevated floor height and are useful if services (such as cables) need to be run under the floor.

Dry floating systems tend to offer the best performing acoustic properties and can be coupled with acoustic foams and rubber tiles.

PROFESSIONAL LINE MARKING

Line marking floors in gyms originated from sports halls and the same methods are used.

Most of the flooring markings are used in functional areas to complement functional equipment or to indicate an area of work & exercise.

We use highly durable specialist floor paint to create a design of your choice. We can also apply templated numbers and text to a font of your choice.

LOGOS AND BRANDING

As with line marking, floor logos and branding originated from sports floors. A logo on a gym floor can make a big statement so why not turn your gym floor into a marketing exercise?

Logos can be painted using a specialist floor paint or floor transfers.

INLAID MARKINGS & LOGOS

Inlaid markings and logos do offer the most durable solution but this needs to be produced during the flooring manufacturing process.

This throws up issues such as room for error when the floor is installed on site, so any design and setout needs to be 100%. The cost associated with inlaid flooring is also far higher vs. line markings or transfers.

SPRINT AND PROWLER TRACKS

PREMIUM SPORTS TURF

Premium Sports Turf is the ultimate choice for sprint and prowler work. Offering the most durable polyethylene surface, this type of sports turf can withstand the most punishing treatment.

The Sports Turf can also be coupled with a shock pad underlayer to make the area suitable for impact work.

SPORTS CARPET

Sports carpet is used in general use workout areas that might involve prowler use, but not exclusively.

Made from polypropylene textile, sports carpet offers a shorter pile that suits dynamic foot work such as functional training.

As with Premium Sports Turf, a shock pad underlayer can be used to add impact protection.

SPRINT AND TRACK MARKINGS

As with all our flooring, we can make your sprint and prowler track bespoke with markings and/or a logo.

All the markings are cut into the tracks so superior durability is guaranteed.

We offer a design service so you can really have a one-of-a-kind track in your training facility.

OUTDOOR FITNESS

OUTDOOR FITNESS
GROUND WORK

Like any decent floor, outdoor fitness flooring starts with a good base or foundation.

Our team will provide a full site assessment and establish an appropriate and robust groundwork specification.

Many things are considered such as drainage and use of the area.

We feel it is very important to provide a strong foundation for an outdoor fitness area, especially where impact exercises will occur.

FLOOR FINISH

We offer many types of floor finish for outdoor fitness areas. This includes impact rubber tiles, dual layer rubber systems and dual layer artificial sports turf to name a few. All of our outdoor fitness flooring products are made for outdoor environments; durable, UV resistant and porous.

As part of of our design service, we can integrate floor markings, numbers, text and logos to offer a truly bespoke outdoor fitness experience.

OUTDOOR FITNESS STORAGE AND SHELTERS

If you intend to use your outdoor fitness area for training with equipment, we can offer storage and a training area covering.

Storage containers, which have become popular for outdoor fitness storage, offer an ideal and cost-effective method to store your fitness equipment securely. We can colour and brand the equipment storage at an extra cost.

We can also fabricate a bespoke roof covering which attaches to the container, or offer 'off the shelf' solutions.
